Natasha Morgan from Oak and Monkey Puzzle, Spargo Creek, near Daylesford, Victoria, Australia, invited me to give a workshop on The Art of Shibori. This happened last weekend and was fun. The day before we drove up from Melbourne and arrived in the snow - great flakes of snow softly falling as we drove up the drive - it made a wonderful picture.

Landscape architects, Natasha Morgan and Michael Howard live here with their children. They have created a special place of beauty, blending the Australian bush with their own garden landscape. There are chooks, geese and drystone wall features, all of which give this place an air of solidity, fertility and creativity. It is marvellous.

Preparing shibori ori nui samples in the shipping container conversion during the morning, ready for indigo dyeing after lunch

Natasha provided us with a wonderful meal in the shipping container conversion in which conferences and workshops are held. Natasha uses fresh vegetables from her extensive kitchen garden. Above is our delicious pear desert .
