Woodland Dye

I harvested some Goldenrod and dyed some silk noil and the results can be seen below.

This is some Birch bark steeping/soaking in water to release the tannins into the liquid so I can then trial it as a dye after boiling and cooling, with some of the silk noil.


From left to right - Lichen dye (didn't work- only slight colour change), Sumac dye, Elderberry dye, Goldenrod dye
